It's possible to be warm without adding unwanted bulk to your silhouette, as the Kensington Parka proves so beautifully. Long and slim-fitting, the Kensington is insulated with 625 fill power white duck down and features a two-way adjustable, fleece-lined down hood with a removable coyote fur ruff--making it equally appropriate for strolling a city street or hiking a snowy trail at the lake. The practical storm flap that covers the front zipper is dotted with stylish military buttons, while the waist is drawn in snugly with adjustable straps. Recessed storm cuffs and fleece-lined pockets keep your wrists and hands cozy. The high-shine, polyester/nylon fabric adds a touch of flair.
The parka sports a slim fit that's tailored to fit close to the body. Its long thigh length provides maximum protection, as do the elasticized nylon rib-knit collar and wrist cuffs. The two-way, adjustable, fleece-lined down hood features a removable fur ruff. Two kick pleats on the back of the jacket secure with buttons for added versatility. Adjustable exterior straps at the waist give you the option of a slimmer fit, and interior shoulder straps allow you to carry the parka like a backpack. Four sets of outer pockets provide great storage options.
Made of 85 percent polyester, 15 percent cotton, the Arctic-Tech shell weighs 190 grams per square meter (GSM) and sports a durable water repellent finish. The plain-weave nylon lining weighs 55 GSM and is also treated with a water repellent finish. The insulation is 625 fill power white duck down.

I looked and researched for a very long time for a coat that would keep me warm in extremely cold temperatures but not overheat me in mid-range temperatures. This is costly but worth it - the attention to detail and features of this product are amazing. It truly keeps me warm and the lined deep hood creates a tunnel that effectively blocks out arctic wind blowing right in my direction. I don't think i will ever buy any other brand and I don't think this coat will ever wear out - it is that good.

Initially apprehensive about the cost of this coat, I caved and asked for it as a gift. This coat will not disappoint - it is stylish, comfortable, but most of all, WARM. I wear this out while waiting for trains and trudging snow in horrible Canadian winters and this has kept me nicely snug (not even a shiver!). I get cold very fast as I'm a tiny girl - in this coat, I feel nothing but warmth. If you're debating about the coat and trying not to cave to a name brand, do it for this one. The quality is amazing, and trust me, I am incredibly picky. Ladies, you can even adjust your waist to achieve a sexy feminine silhouette while staying warm! Love, love, love this jacket!!
