Product Description
Columbia treated the already waterproof Women's Kona Rain Jacket with a long-lasting DWR finish to ensure that you stay dry as you hike through the Hawaiian rain forest. They also made the Kona in part with high-grade recycled materials to help out a little with taking care of the planet. When you're not using it, stuff this Columbia shell into its own internal pouch.
Comment: This light rain jacket is 100% waterproof and perfect for spring, summer months- it does not offer warmth, but does what it is advertised to do, great quality, and actually looks GREAT on!

Comment: I really like this jacket. I'm 5'4" 100 lbs. and the small fits well. The red color looks nice, and it is thin, not heavy. Definitely worth the price.

Comment: Nice jacket. It is lightweight and good not only for rainy weather but also for cool conditions. It does not get sweaty inside after wearing for a while. It fits close to the body.Jacket is long which is good and the sleeve length is good as I have long arms . The sleeves close with velcro to keep wet and cold out. I especially love the red color.

Summary: Great for going out in the cold and rainy weather 2009-10-28
Comment: I really like this jacket and every time it gets cold and rainy outside this jacket proves how well it protects me and keeps my dry and even warm (with the right kind of undergarment). The fit is excellent (minor fix with the longish sleeves - just cinch it closed) and the color (red) is attractive. The hood fits perfectly - and with plenty of room - to protect my head and all around a good jacket. I recommend it highly to anyone who wants protection, and attractiveness as well as lightweight armor to rain and cold.

Summary: Dry in the wettest weather 2009-10-22
Comment: This jacket was a lifesaver on a recent trip that unavoidably kept me out in the rain for two photographers' field trips. I had originally purchased it with the idea of some light use, not planning on spending hours at a time outside in pouring rain. I stayed dry (along with my camera) and shielded from the cold wind as well. Although I usually wear a medium size in most clothes, I thought that the medium was a little snug in the hips, especially if it was over a bulky sweater. The size large was not so large that it looked sloppy, just comfortable and casual...and very well made.
As always, Amazon was dependable and prompt with competitive pricing as well. That means a lot, especially if you have to return for a different size.
