I was hoping for a good rain jacket that would be comfortable in even hot rainy weather. I couldn't resist writing this review the day I got it, even before much use. But I am impressed with the quality, great sleeve length even with my 5'8" height, and very light weight. I can tell, that this was a perfect choice for hot rainy weather. There is no warm feeling when you put it on, it is breathable just as it says (does not contain your own body heat).

I got a small Black Grill. I really like the security pocket inside and the outside pockets zip closed. It is slim in the hips, so buy the size according to your pant size would be a recommendation. I wear size 4-7 and it fits me great. The hood covers well and the extra length on the backside is perfect if you need to take a seat on a wet bench waiting for a bus! Very nice, I am pleased.

I've been reading reviews from the Columbia site as well, many people suggest it runs small. I feel like this is true to size if not running large. I wear an 8-10 and I can wear the medium with plenty of room for sweaters and whatnot. It's longer on me, but I'm only 5'2" - goes to mid thigh. It is tailored and the red one is very candy like - more fire engine red than burnt henna, or whatever. So far I love it! The pockets are great - zippered shut (2 on the outside and 1 on the left inside). Rain doesn't come through even though I walked in rain for 2 hours with it.

Jacket arrived ahead of schedule. I absolutely love it! I must say that the "tank" color is more of an Army green than the brown that appears in the picture (at least it looked this way on my computer). I actually like the color as well if not better than I thought it would be. I'm 5'4" and weigh 147 lbs and I ordered a size Large. My "booty" is larger than my busts and the jacket definitely hugs my hips. I might suggest if you're fairly curvy on the bottom end, consider ordering a larger size than you might normally wear. I like the fact that it is tapered a bit instead of being straight cut. It gives the jacket a more feminine touch. The length is great and the sleeves are proportionate. I haven't actually worn this in the weather yet but am looking forward to a little rain so I can check out this aspect of it. I would definitely recommend this product!
